Does Your Career Need A Usability Evaluation? October 18, 2012

Dr. Janel Anderson, CEO of Working Conversations, will give a dynamic talk about incorporating the principles of usability and design into your career plans.  Is your career flowing by design or by accident?  For most of us, the answer is some of each.

Guests will come away with new insights on their careers and how to create a forward thinking career design for the next decade and beyond. STC members and guests, even if they are not TC professionals, are invited to register. Janel will be sharing material relevant to any profession.

New Location

We’re now meeting at the Outback Steakhouse instead of Champp’s.
It seems Champp’s will be full to the brim with employees from a very distinguished local firm. No worries though, Outback has just gotten a full facelift and we will be one of the first to see her new look.

Location
Country Inn and Suites
1250 South Moorland Road,  Brookfield, WI 53005
(262) 782-1400

Agenda
5:00 – 5:30  Meet in Outback Steakhouse, attached to the Country Inn & Suites
5:30 – 6:45  Register, order food/beverages, enjoy networking
6:45 – 7:00  Move to Breakfast Room to prepare for presentation
7:00 – 8:00  Janel presents Usability and You: A Heuristic Evaluation of Your Career
8:00 – 8:30  Wrap-up with questions and social close

Cost: Free!

This year we will be mixing things up a bit in an effort to focus our resources on bringing you stronger events.  For this event, we will be providing appetizers during our social hour and asking that you cover your costs if you care to order dinner or drinks.  Food and beverages can be carried into the Breakfast Room.
