Welcome to the Wisconsin Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). Our community, located in Milwaukee, is a gathering place for technical communicators to network, learn, exchange ideas and develop their careers.

STC Wisconsin Members Honored at 2013 Summit
Ken Cook, President of The Ken Cook Company, was honored with the President’s Award for lifetime achievement, an honor for exceptional contributions to the profession or to the Society. Ken, a past president and STC Fellow, is an active member of the STC Development Task Force and is dedicated to supporting STC both financially and socially.
Dave Clark, UWM Associate Professor and our featured speaker for the STC 60th Anniversary Celebration received the Jay R. Gould Award for Excellence in Teaching. With this award, Dave has been recognized for exceptional service in preparing students for careers in technical communication and for conducting research that promises to change the way technical communication is taught.
Mollye Barrett was named Associate Fellow in recognition of her contributions to the field of technical communication and for her dedication to promoting STC as a means of career development. Mollye is also a driving force behind the Wisconsin Chapter’s programming and administration.
